Are you terminating one of your employees? We can advise you and help you resolve the legal consequences.

We can also advise you on drafting a settlement and release agreement for a termination of employment. This agreement is signed by mutual consent between you and your employee.

If your employee’s dismissal is contentious, we can assist you with the legal remedies available: a complaint to the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité au travail (CNESST) or proceedings before the Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT).

We will also advise you on remedies provided by other specific laws covering dismissal complaints, if the dismissal contravenes the exercise of a right provided by these laws. This includes the Act respecting occupational health and safety and the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases.
