Me Samantha Di Done
Lawyer, Accredited Investigator
Experience
I have been a lawyer and a member of the Quebec Bar since 2018. It was my desire to combat bullying and support vulnerable people that first led me to the law. Very early on, I realized that I wanted to work in environments where human relationships, psychological safety, and justice take center stage.
Since there was no specific legal framework yet to address school bullying, I began my career in criminal, juvenile, disciplinary, and civil law. This multidisciplinary practice allowed me to develop strong analytical skills, an ability to understand behavior, and a knack for handling delicate, complex situations with significant human stakes.
Over the years, I have developed a professional approach that combines legal rigor, active listening, sensitivity, and a commitment to finding solutions tailored to each individual’s circumstances. I am often described as empathetic, composed, and determined, and I place great importance on the quality of communication and on understanding the people involved.
Today, at Chabot Médiateurs Avocats, I focus my practice on investigations involving psychological, sexual, and discriminatory harassment in the workplace, as well as disciplinary and youth cases. I prioritize a rigorous and nuanced approach, attentive to the facts, behaviors, and relational dynamics, while strictly adhering to the process and the mandate entrusted to me.
At the same time, I founded an initiative dedicated to combating bullying in schools. Through a 360° approach, I support schools, young people, and parents with compassionate, practical, and innovative interventions—a natural extension of the mission that inspired me to become a lawyer.
