Me Josy-Anne Charette

Lawyer, Accredited Investigator, Accredited Mediator, Coach

Experience

Admitted to the bar in 2015, I have since earned a master’s degree in criminal and penal law practice, as well as a certificate in workplace conflict resolution, from HEC.

Before joining the team at Chabot, Mediators and Lawyers, I had the opportunity to work at a firm specializing in administrative law (CNESST and SAAQ), where I developed an interest in alternative dispute resolution (mediation, workplace investigations)—an interest that has continued to grow ever since. Bringing together the best of all worlds, I wear the hats of family mediator and lawyer within the labor law team at CHABOT. Whether as a mediator or in the context of labor relations litigation, I demonstrate strong listening skills, openness, and creativity. I value win-win solutions based on the interests and needs of the parties.

I have always had a keen interest in people and their interactions. Whether at work or in my personal life, I firmly believe that communication is the foundation of any good relationship, and I strive to reflect this belief in how I handle my cases. Finally, I place great importance on sharing knowledge and making the law accessible to the general public, which is why I teach at the college level and give annual presentations at high schools.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding my services.
