Me Anne-Sophie Arsenault
Lawyer and Accredited mediator
Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Montreal in 2018 and have been a member of the Bar since 2019, following an internship I completed with a community organization.
I joined the team at CHABOT Mediators-Attorneys in 2020, where I primarily practice family law on Montreal’s South Shore. I primarily handle the firm’s litigation cases. As such, I represent clients in court on matters including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and separations between common-law partners. My specialized training in domestic violence also enables me to support my clients in particularly challenging situations.
My years of experience in this field allow me to represent my clients effectively in court or to guide them efficiently through settlement negotiations.
The legal process can be emotionally taxing, which is why I offer a personalized service tailored to each of my clients, taking into account their individual needs and emotions. I also ensure that I am available to all my clients so that I can respond quickly to their questions and provide them with thorough updates on the progress of their case.
In the summer of 2022, I also expanded my scope of practice by becoming a family mediator. Establishing effective co-parenting between parents is paramount to me during this process, all in the best interests of the children.
